STERN INSTALLED AT AMAZON COSTA RICA
JULY 8, 2018: Amazon opened its doors in Costa Rica back in 2008 with a staff of 75. Today this number has reached more than 7,000. Amazon is a 24/7 operation and employees work day, night and weekend shifts, creating an extremely high traffic washroom environment.
In order to make the non-stop washrooms sanitary and streamlined for thousands of users, while saving on water costs and maintenance fees, Amazon chose to install Stern’s Malmo Series Electronic Wall Mounted Faucets throughout the building.
These automatic faucets, operated by IR sensor and battery that are integrated in the spout with the option of cold or premixed water. Water consumption has been drastically reduced and with touch free operation, users are protected against cross contamination.
